Natural Sciences Campus Athletic Sports Event (May 31)
SKKU University College and Freshman Guide Committee will host the 2019 First Semester Natural Sciences Campus LC Athletic Sports Event as follows: We hope that it will be a good opportunity to make friendships, to make fun memories and to win prizes.
1. Qualification/application: first year students of Natural Science and Engineering LC
2. Date and venue: May 31 (Fri) 09:00~18:00, Large playground and foot volleyball court
▪ For those who have to miss classes on the event day, a certificate of participation in the athletic event will be issued
▪ Please note that the participation certificate is only issued to applicants themselves, so please submit your student ID when requiring issuance.
3. Games: Players may participate in multiple games and teams may select only some games(not required to take part in all games).
▪ Foot volleyball – 4 male students and 3 substitutes
▪ Dodge ball - 8 students (1 female student at least) + 1 male sub, 1 female sub
▪ Futsal – 5 male students + 2 subs
▪ Relay race – 3 male students, 1 female student + 1 male sub, 1 female sub
▪ Mission relay – 9 students (3 male students, 2 female students at least) + 1 male subs, 1 female sub
(All substitutes need not be filled, but only substitute players on the list can be replaced. If a team do not have a substitute player, that team may be disqualified in situations such as lack of players, e.g. injury, etc.)
4. Prize
▪ Foot volleyball, Dodge ball, Futsal: 120,000 won for 1st place team, 70,000 won for 2nd place team
▪ Relay, Mission relay: 100,000 won for 1st place, 50,000 won for 2nd place
▪ OX quiz: 20,000 won for each last 9 players

5. How to apply

May 19 (Sun)

▪ Game rules will be announced before the game starts. Please see the Freshman Guide Facebook page.
▪ Teams that go beyond the semi-finals of some events will be eligible to participate in the campus competition of the second semester.
▪ LC Athletics activities can be used within LC portfolio.
▪ LC Athletics Contestants can receive 10 points for FYE Seminar Ⅰ (new in 2019)
※ We will send preliminaries time on May 29th (Wed) to each team’s representative's mobile phone. If you do not receive a match time message until 10pm on May 29th, please contact us to 010-9926-9387 (Yoon Chae Young) until May 30th.
※ All event notices will be sent to representatives. We will not be held responsible for any disadvantages caused by failure to contact us.
※ Players must bring their student ID cards 5 minutes before the start of each game to confirm their identities.
※ If the minimum number of people who can participate in the match has not arrived after the scheduled time, you will be automatically disqualified.
※ Depending on the conditions of the stadium, participation may be restricted in order of application.
