Notice for 2019 Fall semester Withdrawal of classes
The following is a guidelines on application for the withdrawal of 2019-2's classes which you take.

The system of giving up on classes and correspondingly, grades during the semester due to inevitable reasons such as differences between actual contents and class information, or ability of academic performance.

1. The Deadline to apply
: 2019. 9 19.(wed) ~ 9. 20.(fri) 10:00 ~ 23:00
Additional applications and changes cannot be made for any reason after the end of the application period.
After apply, what is displayed to students as a reflection of their withdrawal will be after Sep. 27.
2. Target classes and the Restriction to apply
a. Target classes : 2019-2 semester’s classes you are going to take
b. The number of classes applicable : Within two classes(maximum 2 classes)
c. Graduate students are not allowed to withdraw their classes.
3. How to apply : Students’ own GLS → Class area → Undergraduate registration for classes → Apply to withdrawal of classes
4. The grade reflection about the withdrawn subjects
a. The results of a subject whose withdrawal has been approved are not fully removed from the grade average of the transcript and are not reflected. It is also excluded from graduation grade average and academic warning calculation criteria.
b. Bachelor’s academic warning is given based on the grade average for subjects, excluding the withdrawn subjects.
5. Need attention!
a. It is not possible to cancel classes for subjects that have been approved for withdrawal. Please be careful about your choice of retraction by checking the graduation requirements before applying.
b. Even if you withdraw the class, you cannot take any other courses in that semester.
c. The tuition fee will not be returned for reasons of withdrawal.
d. Application for withdrawal of classes is completed through GLS and no other application is not necessary.
e. Even if you withdraw from the class, you will not be eligible for the 'unused credits carried-over system' because you have already applied for the class.
f. It is not possible to withdraw all classes if only one or two subjects are taken for during the semester.(Only one of the two subjects can be withdrawn, and at least one subject must remain.)
