This is the Center for Innovative Engineering Education at Sungkyunkwan University.
Our university's engineering fields, including the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the College of Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Advanced Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil, Architectural Engineering and Landscape Architecture, Systems Management Engineering), and the College of Information and Communication Engineering (Electronic and Electrical Engineering), operate the Global Standard Engineering Education Program known as ABEEK (Accreditation).
Therefore, for students in the engineering fields, who are either incoming freshmen or transfer students, aiming to graduate with ABEEK accreditation, it is essential to take department-specific mandatory courses and meet the domain-based credit requirements (25 credits for liberal arts, 30 credits for math, science and computer, 63 credits for major).
For the 2023 academic year, incoming foreign freshmen and transfer students who intend to graduate with ABEEK accreditation are required to first take the mandatory 1st-year courses, "Creative Convergence Design (GEDT017)" and "Engineering Computer Programming (DASF003)."
The courses "Creative Convergence Design (GEDT017)" and "Engineering Computer Programming (DASF003)" are first-year mandatory courses assigned by the university.
Incoming foreign freshmen and transfer students will be registered as applicants for these courses through the following link:
